From 14 September to 6 October 2019 the Artistic Circle of Arezzo<\/strong>, in Corso Italia 108, hosts the exhibition “Franco Onali – Arezzo 2019” curated by Danilo Sensi and Anna Roncoroni.<\/strong><\/p>\n The event, with free admission, will be inaugurated on Saturday 14 September at 7 pm, preceded by the presentation, at 5.30 pm, of the catalog edited by Mariano Apa.<\/p>\n THE EXHIBITION<\/strong><\/p>\n “Realizing an exhibition by Franco Onali is not only exhibiting his works, but a way to get closer to the greatest living artist that Arezzo can boast and to bring Onali closer to his city, far too far from his heart”. <\/ em> Thus begins Danilo Sensi <\/strong> in the presentation of the retrospective dedicated to the great painter.<\/em><\/p>\n Onali lives between Rome and Sansepolcro, but Arezzo is the place of youth, of the first works, of the first inspiration. “Franco Onali – Arezzo 2019” <\/em> brings together the best of the artist’s sixty years of activity, from the first important works of the late fifties to the latest works still fresh from drafting, from the activity of graphic designer and designer to the jewels made for well-known companies from Arezzo.<\/p>\n \u201cWith Onali images he constantly recreates his story <\/em> – writes the co-curator and wife Anna Roncoroni <\/strong>, – and continues to face the same one hundred thousand times problem, varying the approach. He is agile in moving from one theme to another and does not care if a painting seems apparently unfinished. “<\/em><\/p>\n The continuous research gives power to his art and his pictures-frames, with colors with tonal relationships, spring from his ideas-thoughts. The artist knows how to be charming or unfriendly depending on his mood, but remains unyieldingly faithful to one passion: freedom.<\/p>\n Despite the passing of years, Onali’s vitality continues to be a harbinger of pure creativity and poetry, which also manifest themselves in this exhibition event with multiple meanings.<\/p>\n “The great exhibition <\/em> – Sensi explains – intends to be the prelude to a much more important activity which, at the behest of the artist and his wife, sees the creation of a Foundation for the cataloging of his work and the creation of a general archive. L\u2019artista sa essere affascinante o scostante a seconda dell'umore, ma resta inflessibilmente fedele a una unica passione: la libert\u00e0.<\/p>\r\n Nonostante l'avanzare degli anni, la vitalit\u00e0 di Onali continua a essere foriera di pura creativit\u00e0 e poesia, che si manifestano anche in questo evento espositivo dai molteplici significati.<\/p>\r\n \u201cLa grande mostra <\/em>\u2013 spiega Sensi \u2013 intende essere il preludio di una attivit\u00e0 molto pi\u00f9 importante che, per volere dell'artista e della moglie, veda la creazione di una Fondazione per la catalogazione del suo lavoro e la realizzazione di un archivio generale.
